The full analytical report based on a nationwide survey on the integration of the Ukrainian community in Sweden and their readiness for legal status transition is now available in our "Projects" section.

Covering 723 respondents across all regions of the country, the study was conducted ahead of the entry into force of new migration regulations. The report details the central "integration paradox": despite high rates of social, digital, and professional adaptation (90% hold a Personnummer, 89% use BankID, and over half are officially employed), the vast majority face systemic barriers—ranging from high salary thresholds for work permits to stringent family maintenance requirements and the loss of access to tuition-free higher education.

In this section, you will find:

  • The complete analytical report featuring detailed statistics and charts;

  • An assessment of structural risks for the Swedish economy and labor market;

  • Actionable policy proposals aimed at Swedish authorities and parliamentarians.
